Welcome to Pack Centre

We help businesses and homes throughout New Zealand to find the right cleaning and packaging solutions. We provide quality products which we know will deliver fantastic results for our customers time and time again.

Our friendly team really know their stuff and go the extra mile to ensure our customers find the solution they’re looking for. If we don’t have a suitable product in stock, we’ll find it for you! Simply tell us what you need and we’ll make it happen.

We have proven experience in looking after the needs of businesses in the hospitality, aged care, health care, education, food and manufacturing industries.

We’re 100% New Zealand owned and operated. And while our physical store is based in New Plymouth, we provide fast deliveries to customers throughout the country. 

Meet Our Team

Deborah Kelly – Director aka “Madame President”

Deborah loves finding new products and innovations which will make life easier and better for people. In addition to overseeing the overall business strategy, managing sales and looking after the team, she also continues to look after Pack Centre customers. Deborah believes variety is the spice of life and enjoys the differences which each and every day brings. A genuine people person, Deborah is always putting others first and truly leads from the front.
When not living and breathing all things Pack Centre, Deborah enjoys spending quality time at the Hour Glass drinking wine with good friends and her husband David. She’s a keen skier, enjoys walking and regularly hits the gym. Deborah only has two weaknesses – shoes and lipsticks (she has lost count of just how many lipsticks she has!). Above everything else, Deborah loves spending quality time with her husband David and her children and grandchildren.

David Kelly – Director Operations aka “Chief Doer”

David is a multi-talented member of the Pack Centre team. While he primarily manages the Laundry, Dishwasher and Chemical servicing side of the business, he also does whatever Deborah and the team tell him to, and is particularly good when it comes to putting the jug on.
Being the Pack Centre’s chemical expert means David is often out assisting customers to ensure they have the right products and equipment to ensure their premises are squeaky clean and everything is working as effectively as it should be.
David enjoys a drink with Deborah at the Hour Glass and is a keen golfer. He also enjoys snowboarding and going for bike rides and walks whenever he can.

Jeff Mason - Store Manager aka “The Bee-keeper”

Jeff is our Store Manager extraordinaire and currently manages our inwards and outwards goods. Recently nicknamed “the bee-keeper,” Jeff’s the one who makes sure that all our stuff is where it should be, when it should be, so we can deliver to our customers and make sweet honey!
Originally from Wellington, Jeff married a Taranaki girl 32 years ago and now considers the place home. He has two grown up children. Jeff loves golf and is the Vice Club Captain at Westown Golf Club. While most of us would find this a bit strange, Jeff enjoys following the stock market. We did ask for a few tips, but he’s keeping them close to his chest – watch this space!

Leonie Radcliffe – Business Development Manager aka “The Problem Solver”

Leonie describes herself as a jack of all trades, yet a master of none – however we know different. She is a customer sales superstar and thrives on being able to help find solutions for any problem or request. Leonie enjoys a challenge and is only satisfied when she delivers solutions that her customers really need.
As a mum to two young teenage children, Leonie doesn’t have a lot of time to herself, but she does enjoy unwinding at the end of each day with a glass of wine and an episode of Home and Away (she told us not to tell you that!). A social butterfly, Leonie also loves spending time with friends and family, travelling and exploring new places and the odd spot of shopping.

Maureen Bishop - Sales Representative

Maureen is one of the most bright, bubbly and positive people going. She does everything with a smile on her face and always goes the extra mile for her customers. A talented sales rep, Maureen helps drive new business and also services customers in South Taranaki. Having worked at the Pack Centre for a number of years previously, Maureen returned to the fold in 2012 and we were delighted to have her back.
Maureen is a super fast speed walker and probably has a stash of trophies at home. She enjoys paddle boarding, gardening, home decorating and socialising. She also travels regularly to spend quality time with her grandchildren.

Shelley Gruchy – Office Manager aka “The Juggler”

Shelley is much more than just our accounts person, she juggles several roles into one and she makes it all look easy! As well as managing our accounts, she also looks after customer orders, banking, quoting, social media and more. Originally from Jersey in the UK, Shelley now considers Taranaki her home. Shelley gives a lot of time to helping others and has been involved with Cystic Fibrosis Taranaki for 26 years.
Outside of work, Shelley loves getting out and socialising and enjoys doing a range of activities. She is a member of Toastmasters and also belongs to a local book club. Now and then, Shelley likes to live on the edge and try new things. Her latest “thing” is surfing and while she loves the sea, when it comes to the sport she describes herself as an “eternal beginner.” Shelley also enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Toi Paratene - Customer Service Representative

Toi makes sure our customers get what they need, when they want it. A part of our team since mid 2012, Toi assists Jeff in the running of the store and can usually be seen in the Pack Centre van, delivering products to our customers throughout Taranaki.
Fluent in Te Reo, Toi is probably our quietest team member, however with all the Pack Centre ladies around, it can be hard to get a word in at times. Outside of work, Toi enjoys keeping fit and has played rep level Inline Hockey.
